The starting point of the band HAB's compositions are the mantric and percussive bases created by guitarrist Guilherme Valério, which are brought into shape within a collaborative creative process alongside musicians Marco Nalesso (guitar), Marcos Gerez (bass) and Thiago Babalu (drums). The band's arrangements are framed by a polyrythmic and minimalist aesthetic, creating a post-rock sound, with influences of african and brazilian folk music, such as the guitarrada music, from the state of Pará, for example. Their sound is completed with moments of free improvisation between the musicians.
